VIva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends
In the beginning of 2008 Coldplay officially announced the title of their forth project. It’s name is taken from the picture of the popular Mexican artist Frida Calo and the release date is 16th June 2008. "Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends" is produced by Brian Eno and distributed by EMI. In April Coldplay began the shooting of the video for the first album single “Violet Hill”. The same song was available for free on the band’s webpage from 29th April 2008. and available for downloading for a period of one week. The result registered: 600 000 downloads for 24 hours.

X&Y was released in the summer of 2005. The success of this product is obvious: in the first week it sold 464 471 in the UK and 737 000 in the USA. By far over 10 million copies has been sold.

"A Rush Of Blood To The Head" is the second Coldplay studio album. It was released on 26th August 2002 and debuted on the number one spot in the UK. Right after the first week the album had sold 273,000 copies there and 144,000 in the USA. The singles are "In My Place", "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face", "The Scientist", "Clocks", which wins the a Grammy award for song of the year. Moreover, "A Rush Of Blood To The Head" gets the album of the year award.

Parachutes
"Parachutes" is the first Coldplay album. In July 2000 it debutes as ¹1 on the “UK Albums Chart". The first video is for the song "Shiver". The second - "Yellow" - becomes the ban’s first smashing hit, it reached to number 4 in the "UK Singles Chart". The album sold more than 8.million copies worldwide.
